i have a corsa b 1.4 sri 8v and when its cold it will turn over fine(maybe a bit slugish) but allways fires up, if you run it for a bit turn the engine off and go back to it while its still hot its wont fire over but maybe if you press the accelerator it will ocassionaly, ive replaced various things such as fuel filter, plugs,coil pack, and i cant think what it can be would appreciate your help..... could it be the Crankshaft rotation sensor ????

it sounds like it could be the crankshaft position sensor but i would expect it to cut out all the time if it was goosed.

well it dosent rev up so you have to give it some revs to keep it from stalling, where about is this sensor ???

not sure on your engine. i seem to remember it being near the alternator on my old 12 volt. it's been that long i've totally forgotten. it's a common fault so someone will be along with the answer soon.

when its got its revs its fine and it dosent cut out, but when you stop it dosent want to start again =(

some one said it might be a coolant temp sensor as it wont start at all from hot ???

that sensor is the Crank sensor but it could be a faulty coolant sensor get ya self to a scrappies and find an 8v and have the sensors away mate

i dont think its the crank sensor because it does not stop when driving just when you turn it off and go to start it when its warm.
