its nearly up to 3bar, ive bled a rad twice and it eventually creeps up again. It has no probs with central heating and hot water btw. Is there a permanent fix to this?

i'm no plumber but i would guess that your filling loop is passing water. check that the valve is fully off. it could be that the filling loop is fucked and a little water is still entering the system and increasing the pressure. Matt will probably be along soon to point you in the right direction.

would you use the filling loop to raise pressure? my mums boyfriend was undoing a nut to raise the pressure, ive checked it and it wasnt fully tightened so ive nipped it up

yes the filling loop put mains water into the system so if it is passing the pressure will raise slowly.

probably sorted it now, ill bleed the rad again tomorrow and see how it goes. cheers
