cant seem to get the mirror out .. just about to spray them just need to get the mirror out so i can sand/key the surface behind the mirror as it has colour i cant reach without scratching the mirror

move the mirror so the inside is in the housing and the outside (smaller end) is sticking out the housing - it will probably make ckicking sounds if they are electric - dont worry, you wont break it.....
then put your fingers behind the mirror (all 4 if you can) and pull - it will pop off the balls and come off in your hand - if they are electric heated watch out for the 2 wires attached to the mirror for the heating element - they are just small spade connectors and slide off but if you pull too hard you could break them off.
