So for my birthday next weekend my mum has bought me a h4 hi/lo 6000k hid kit

It's arrived today and having a look now it only has one plug to where the bulb would normally go.. is this right?

I always thought the ballasts just plugged into the oe bulb plug?

this seems to be relayed and fused, connects to one battery terminal, earths to body and plugs into the n/s headlamp plug

Does that sound right?

its a hid direct kit if that helps

yeh it only uses one of the OEM plugs, then, tne you should have a red cable to go onto the positive on the battery and then each ballast should h ave its own earth, job done!

There's a good chance that won't work on your car if it uses canbus.

Yeah it just uses one of the OEM plugs as stated, it's simply plug and play except for the battery terminal

Is the lighting system part of canbus? I don't think it is in the C.

They might work and they might not, it's hit and miss from my HID experiences, it was just because they only plug in one side that made me think they might not work on the punto, it normally monitors for differences between sides.
