I was at Thorney ages ago, this bloke had a Milltek fitted to his and was having his second system removed after the first broke and then the second shortly after.

Nothing but issues with them on VXR's as well.

I'd stay clear.

it seems really make specific on the exhausts breaking, alot of clio 182 owners have had the welds split, but then the fiesta st systems we do (done loads of these now) never had a problem.

I have one but tbh i dont see the big fuss about them. Mines is well made and relativly quiet but there alot of other exhausts out there that would offer the same for less i would imagine.

That's quite cheap for a full system on an M3 Colin

The Milltek and Remus systems for the VXR's are £1000 but that also includes sport CAT's

Much is it for an M5? I just dont see the value in a £1000+ exhaust

I want to pay a couple hundred for one just for a nicer exhaust note

Be up to nearer £2k if you included headers on an M.

I just dont see the sense, I mean you can get a VXR (or E46M) for £10k..............is an exhaust worth shelling out a tenth of the value of the car on

m5 is silly money for some of it, its 2 exhaust systems at the end of the day.

same with the construction of the m3 system, theres alot of material there, then you have the "M" tax.

Get on Mtorque or M3 cutters Colin, the miltek exhausts have mixed reviews in terms of sound and quality.

The Miltek on my Clio is okish but I have seen better IMO

The bloke who was having his Milltek replaced at Thorney had an E90 M3 and the new system going on was a ridiculous amount of money, name escapes me but even that needed some modifcation of the hangers to get it to line up perfectly.
