for 5k it wont be up to much on track. For that price it would be a near standard ropey old R32 GTR. They cost A LOT to keep on track.
Ours was bought for 5.5k but we have spent a fair bit on it.

I'd rather stick with a smaller car for track use I think, especially after being out in the Saxo. Although I can imagine how much fun it is in something 4wd and daft bhp.

I do, used to work with him. He's on here actually I'm sure as well, last I heard it's running 300bhp. The thing's lovely.

My Impreza is very RWD biased.. and actually feels like a small car (it is pretty small and light). Also it would have been running just over 300bhp on sat. Nice and tame

The astra was pumping out blue smoke when it was in the pits though, he went back out on track though so it must have been ok. It looked like it went well, especially in those conditions. How is the scoob Adam, had a chance to have a look at it since?

nope... hopefully get it into Wallace Performance tomorrow eve. Its a pain trying to pin point problems in a small garage or driving a noisey basterd car in the road. Noisy inside - its fairly quiet outside

you dont want to know about the amount of engines i've been through over the years. I think i may be a bit hard on them.
It has a forged 2.0 in it just now, but it wasnt newly built. Came from a car that had a front end smash.
