Can the oil cooler feed from above the fliter be removed? if so how?

or can i just blank it off with 2 bolts?

yeah. if you remove the oil filter, the threaded part where the filter goes on (if original) has an allen key bit to remove it. its quite a large allen key. cant remember what size it is.

if its not orriginal, pipe grips or something to turn it.

and then get the threaded tube from a none oil-cooled engine so the filter will screw up tight to the block
