Been on a few comparison sites to get an idea as I'm saving to take me test. Cheapest I've had.
R6 2000plate £3000
CBR600, 2003plate £1300

are these sorts of quotes normal for a first time rider? Just suprised by how high they are. Anyother bikes to maybe look at?

Thanks

Thats really high.. About £500 is where you should be if you have a clean license.

Try a quote through H & R.

for your first year it will be pricey, with 1 years no claims you get so much discount. my enduro bike went from £310 to £115 fully comp.

Mine for this year was under £500. But that included european cover, Breakdown, legal cover and no excess. This is my first year of riding.

zxr400 is an awsome first bike, i had a cbr400 nc23 as my first bike and there pretty much the same but such a nice bike and pretty fast, plus can throw them into most corners at silly speeds.

It would come down to cost of buying the bike and insurance but the Kawasaki looks nicer, I think I will have to research into them
