whats your opinion of them?what are they like to drive?me and my dad want to build one to top 200 mph quite interested in this what do you think?

I can imagine they are like a boat in the corners, but then if you are wanting a car capable of 200mph you arent looking for a track car. Look on youtube for examples of tuned ones, might get a figure for mods, but most will be American with overnight parts from Japan

as long as i get either the 7m, 1jz, and 2jz i think i should be ok as they are meant to be able to take some abuse

7m isnt turbo (i think, from memory thats the 2.8 NA Engine isnt it?).... 1jz smaller capacity.
The 2JZ GTE it the engine you want to start with (and the MKIV shell to be honest)
They are very smooth and refind cars as standard. Spend a couple of hundred on a standard MKIV 3.0 TT and you'll break 400bhp.
Standard engine (if healthy) should make 550ish no problem with correct turbos/fueling/ecu. That should get you to 200 with a long enough runway.
Strange thing to build a car for though

I've done 180 once thats it.
160ish on track in the skyline.

the 7m ge is a non turbo but then toyota made a turbo 7m ge.the 7mgte was the turbo engine i mean.my mistake

Never been a fan of these much, saw one round town on Sunday with what looked like Lexus gs300 sport wheels on it, standard kit in black and it looked gorgeous!!
