i decided that i wouldnt mind trying flight sim x out, so i dusted off my old joystick, went to plug it in and i dont have the games port on the back of my machine..

so i was wondering, is there a converter that will change it from games port to usb or something?

Yea, you need a USB game port/Midi adaptor. Similer to the USB serial adaptor.
