i used this tar remover stuff from halfords and used a plastic ruler to get it off

i dont live anywhere near a halfords or anything like that and car is off the road at the moment ! is there anything rouund the house i could probably use!?

petrol works, wash the area afterwards

try heating it with a hair dryer and scraping it carefully with a plastic ruler/credit card or similar

i used petrol lighter fluid and elbow grease

I used my partners nail varnish remover! Did the job perfectly
Just have to scrub it off with a soft hand towel!
