Are we talking strictly modern wars?

300, Last Samurai, Kindgom of Heaven, LOTR's all have pretty epic battles

I haven't seen Heartbreak Ridge since the cinema, so it might seem like rubbish now, but I loved it.

Memphis Belle is so rubbish The bit where the plane is cut in half and you see the people fall out. The amount of damage the plane takes is laughable, its far too unrealistic for me to take it seriously.

As good as the fight scene is it doesn't make up for the pitiful storyline and acting, I may be wrong but wasn't Pearl Harbour voted one of the worst war films of all time?

Titanic is a good film though, that and Pearl Harbour are miles apart in terms of quality.
