what are the best brakes to fit behind 14" maybe 15" wheels? want to keep cost down as this is just a track toy which gets used a bit more

If keeping the cost down and in a stripped track car then the ATE calipers and 256mm discs as per Astra GTE/Calibra etc are a good budget choice and fit under many 14" wheels.
