as above i can only start my car if my accelerator is pressed all the way to the floor, also once runing eml comes on and the car is very sluggish? any help would be appreciated, cheers

check that your firing order is correct, 1423.
then clean your plugs, check the connection is clean, maybe even check that they are all sparking good.

also for the eml, do a paperclip test and let us know the results here

what car is it? maybe egr valve?
