Maybe what happened is the guy was just topping up the screenwash in the Insignia, when the apprentice came over (wasn't in the shot) and asked his superior if the clutch which is in the picture is right for a mk3 Fiesta (also out of shot) that he is fitting it to. It just happened that he was under the Insignia bonnet at the time of checking this clutch.
