hi had a look at the tutorial on egr valve blanking what is the advantages n disadvantages?.

Stops the exhaust gases going back into your inlet system, so essentially you are getting more oxygen.

In the real world you won't notice anything.

It's only worth it if the EGR fails or if you are digging around in that area anyway.

do be aware tho even if you blank the egr valve and leave a working valve conected but cable 0tied somwhere in the engine bay (in my case under the battery) after a while of high revs. for example on the motorway your engine light will come on. well mine does anyway lol

yeah a have read up about that like so not a mod worth doing unless egr broken

Yeah mate. U blank it of but plug it back in. This stops the EML coming on. Like Sean-B said not worth messing with unless ur in that area. Tricky to get to.

mine is pluged in but i still get the eml light on motorways when the revs drop from high revs (for example just after overtaking)
