looking at getting a new car and the astra seems to meet all the criteria's i'm after. the 1.9cdti sri is the model i'm looking at.

Astra 06 sri

i'v got a few questions that need answering.
what are the controls on the steering wheel? does it come with cruise control? is there a list of models from lowest spec to highest spec astra's as i'm not to sure when it comes to vauxhall's?
and any general advice really.

I may be wrong, but that to me seems very cheap for one of those.

Controls on steering wheel are all for stereo.

1.9 150 is the better engine. as for the spec, ring up and ask them, but the steering wheel controls are for the audio.

personally i would go for the sri xp

id say thats a bit overpriced for a 4 year old astra with 78k.

my mum got her 1.7 sxi brand new 2 years ago for 7.5k

cheers for the replys. there seem to be a few of the astra's at that price. never new that parkers guide spec guide existed, cheers for that rich

Price is quite high for year and mileage, i paid £7k for mine with xp and 59k miles.

120 and 150bhp are the same engine prividing they are both the 16v(oil cap on right of engine)

Watch out for EGR Valves/Flywheels and Swirl flaps on pre facelift models. Defo go for the xp if you can find one.

the 150 should come with cruise control and the controls for it r on the left stock

ive got a sxi with

18" slamed on coilovers opel grill tints and burg cheqs up the middle if you wnt to c that
