Basically my mates just got one in and running it come up eml crank sensor no signal i fitted one today for him at his he come to use it just and he phoned me up saying its been starting up all afternoon okay but when he went to get off his drive presses the accelorator it cuts out..ive just replaced the afm as i had a good spare one but its still doing it any ideas? Thanks
Old crank sensor fault was no signal new sensor fault is incorrect signal this was the cause of it cutting out but now when you rev it the eml light will flash sit at a junction it will come on and when you pull away it will go off but over time on the journey it will just come on and stay on with the fault no signal

wiring or possible ecu fault which engine is it?

a mates 2 litre 8v i realised it will come up with no signal as the ignition is on only will get signal when cranking
