Eml has come on. not sure why i was accelerating up to about 70 in 4th, changed to 5th. was doing 80mph when it came on, I pulled over switched engine off, turned on and it went off. then coming into town shortly after it appeared again

anyone? Thanks

I was going to say its the EGR, mine does it, if it stays on your car will jump around everywhere and seem like its mis-firing in idle. you need to clean the EGR or get a new one but its a pain to get to as its under the bottom inlet!

you can blank it off, but still need a good working egr connected to keep ecu happy, so clean it or replace it.

Who told you that? The engine is better off without it!

They only exist to appease some stupid emissions regs that dont even affect the UK.

I read it on allcorsa forum somwhere, someone said it ruined 2 of his engines? probably just bullshit then.
