ive been given a set of Exile 5.25 inch speakers and tweeters
150w peak power
75w RMS power
91dB senditivity

i want to stick them in my doors. however i havnt the first idea about ICE systems.
do i need an amp? how hard are they to install? will it run down a battery?
any suggestions appreciated

you'll need an adaptor as corsa speakers have three bolts, but other than that just plug and play

EDIT: are the tweeters separate ?

yeah seperate tweeters, with an adapter to spilt the cable. where can i get these adapters?
and how much difference will the speakers really make? is it actually worth doing??

plus im a student hence poor. you recon theres anyway to nock up a set of these adapters> bit of plywood or make brackers out of alliminium?

yea its easy enough to knock one up all it needs to do is have 3 screws to the door and to screw the speaker to. spacing it out half inch or so to allow the window to open in the process. The tweeter is easy enough .... I put mine infront of the doorhandles like so

EDIT: and yes a good component set will make a huge difference in sound quailty

The paper speakers really are poor, some nice aftermarket ones will make all the difference.

The adapters are only about a tenner. I linked them in the thread I linked to earlier.
