Simply...Wheres the cheapest place to get them in normal road battery size? Not sure if theres different specs/etc but i just want a really really cheap one just to tidy things up a bit. Looked on EGay and the cheapest is about £35. It doesnt have to be anything special and can be any colour aslong as its pretty plain looking.

dont get a plastic one make sure its fibre glass. I had a plastic one and when i crashed into a curb the battery smashed clean out the side of it.

I was about to say plastic isnt great in an accident when you think of the weight of a battery.

what you on about? Not care that its secure in the box? Its an mot fail if the battery isnt safe and secure. Not care. Amazing what some people type on internet sometimes.

I have one for sale, red fibreglass. £30 + postage. Never been used



I cut out two wee holes for the battery cables to come through.
