took off the coilpack and noticed a crack in it where the bolt goes into and its been overtightened and cracked, just wonderin, as shown in the pic, would that crack effect the coilpack or is that alright??

Lol new someone would comment on that hehe ye I don't think it's this causing the missfire either, maybe it's crank sensor..

mines cracked in the same place and its ok, are the leads ok? not bridging out under the l-piece?

changed them to mate, its gta be a sensor, i recon its crank sensor

when my crank went it wouldnt rev past 3k and will defo bring an eml up

yer i kno, but i done a paperclip test and it did read crank sensor, altho its not doin the usual sumptoms, i bougt a new sensor now so will whip it on and see if it makes any difference!

i had a crack on a coil pack on my old polo that was causing a misfire changed it and the problem was resolved.

i no cracks would cause a missfire but dont kno bout that crap in the pic as its just where the bolt goes in and shouldnt effect it
