When u take out insurace does the address have to match the log book?

No but you have to tell the insurance where the car is registered I believe.

The name and address on the V5C is the 'registered keeper' so that should be where the car is kept but it doesnt have to be where you have told the insurance company you just got to make sure that you keep it where you've told the insurance company you keep it to save from invalidating your insurance.

thats cool cause i work away from home so bike is at 'work' and its kept there but its registered to my residential address
