made £3500 on the car so far and I still have a fair bit to sell

(cost me £5000 to buy)

Cost to get home was a roll of germanys finest gaffa tape and a mazda 626 spare wheel.

Kick in the teeth was the ring bill badgers

Not 'too' bad really considering how bad it could have been. I thought the ring costs would have been alot more aswell!

If you had seen the barrier it wasnt that bad. Just a bend and some red paint.

I could have fixed it with a sledge hammer and a can of nitromors

0% credit card for a year gavin, stick it on that.

it is harsh but at the end of the day, count yourself lucky you didn't get hurt mate.

metals metal, moneys money. both can be replaced.

dodgy backs/broken legs etc always come back to haunt you.

It could have been a lot worse if a local in his brand new GT3 RS had been involved.

Plus Gav managed to drive his car home most people aren't that lucky.

Indeed thats what I felt right from the start. Everyone was ok which was the main thing and it didnt cost that much in comparision to what it could have done

ouch, that a expensive bill. what happens when you crash there then? do you have to pay for the damage there and then before you leave or do they send the bill to your home?

Had a moan at the garage this morning that they have had the saxo for 5 weeks and still not put it back together. Hopefully wheels are in motion for it returning soon so I can come up to you and sort a bit more of it

Team Shonky appeared and like magic it was back together

Will let you know when I have the car, mainly just not impressed that a "3 day" job has taken them 5 weeks and counting. Apparently the quaife went "missing" when they sent it for machining
