What car/engine? In most cases just undo the u bolt after the cat, pull the rest of it off the hangers (centre pipe and back box) You might have to undo another u-bolt that holds the centre pipe to back box. Then its just a case of doing the same but in reverse to fit the new one

1.6 sport. so the 2 bolts that connect the middle to the cat?

Cat back usually means everything from your cat backwards so the cat section bolts onto the down pipe with 2 bolts at one end and then just slides on to a pipe at the other. just slide the centre section off the cat (there might be a U shaped bolt and 2 nuts holding it on) then take it off the rubber hangers and it comes off all together. You will have to undo the U bolt that holds the centre section to the back box first though
