Well after my cav v6 went bang and i was getting bored of the cav sri i tried somethign ive never tried before a Gerry car

Got this cheap Golf VR6

Lowerd on coilovers on 17 SEAT wheels
S/S back box
and that all important induction cone















Plans

Picking up the skirt trim tomorrow and i might get the original wheels ive got refurbed

standard wheels
new rear plate
take v6 badge off

and try and find another boot (original paint)

nice colour though dragon green, had a dragon green 3dr in the past..

v6 badge is now off

build quality in the old golf is really good better than any vauxhall ive had not euro no im in 2 minds get SEAT wheels refurbed or get the original bbs wheels refurbed or polished

its not dragon green mate had a respray back in 2008 its mica green really nice colour in the flesh

Im liking mk3 golfs at the moment.. although not my rot box... not a fan of the VR6 however - all shout and not much go imo..

Theres a lad who lives around the corner from me with a red Mk3 GTi on prefacelift Leon Cupra wheels (multispoke 16's) and it looks sweet, not feeling those 17's though, just dont 'work'
