The little spade connector on the stat it's self.. Check this is connected.

the stat is located under the top water pipe that goes from ur engine to ur rad

you need to clean the spade connector on the stat ive had the same problems now sorted

im havein the same probem mines a 1.0l 12v i thort it woz my clocks so changes them but still no good the fan still kicks in wen hot wot u think it could b ???? sorry 4 high jacking ur thread
