Aye, got the 1.7td as my daily hack. Awesome car tbf, does exactly what i need it to do and has very very rarely let me down and it get abused. Big boot is useful, does about 50mpg and although its slow it pulls well enough from 70-80

Cons? Well its an Astra diesel, you aren't going to get many cool points for owning one

dannymccann has one, a 2.0DTi. He seems pretty happy with it and rated it when I was considering an SXi/SRi variant.
