Whats the most effective, I feel as though i'm a little too close when I use the bar on the far right? Or is that a good thing...

I use both, if you do them with the two going across it works them in a different way, as does doing an overarm grip.

I use free weights, but as Nathenial said, the wonky one feels more natural.

The far right one is for hammer type curls isn't it?

I prefer the EZ bar (wonky) as i can get a better grip unlike the straight bar as it hurts my wrists!

Tricep curls also.
