Is it Delco unit?
There are 2 grub screws either side on the front, Use an allen key to remove them. You then need this
removal tool You push one in each side in the holes where you removed the screws. That pushes the stereo out, Then remove it.

I had that with the old OE CD headunit on my GSI. I used the tools and everything but it wouldn't come out.

I fucking massacred the bastard with a hammer and a chissel.
