How on earth can a 1.6 Sport be dearer to insure than a GSI ??

Insurers answer was, must be higher performance, both cars have the same engine, would have thought the gsi would be dearer being the fact it has a 'gsi' badge.

could be as its newer and maybe they also think they are worth more
