I want to change master cylnder as i know the seals are gone and this will be a easyer idea for me!

To i simply remove the pipes and take of resivor? where does all the fluid go?

Then do i fit new then contine to bleed all bakes farest away then closest one?

So fit new cylinder then bleed rears then NS then OS?

Is it that hard/easy?

If you are replacing the whole setup remove the brake light switch (from inside) then remove wiper arms, scuttle trim, wiper linkage/motor etc to gain access!

Then you should be left with this

Then undo the 4 nuts and the whole setup will come out as one

and your be left with

The fluid will go where ever it wants, use rags to catch most of it and then throw them away! BF will remove paint!

Refit as you removed and bleed from furthest away and work you way to the front!

I would personally bleed all 4 if your there!

Easy enough

the reservoir is the only part that stores fluid so even if you only replace the master cylinder inc reservoir, you will still loose just as much brake fluid as replace the complete part
