I've not got much knowledge of Corsa C's and having only owned mine 5weeks i don't know alot about them.

Over the last few days it has been a struggle to get it into 2nd, today it won't go in at all.

Any ideas?!

Oh right, ok cheers!

Any ideas on best places to get it fixed and how much its likely to set me back?

Hopefully not too expensive!

Its pretty simple to fix tbh and I can't imagine the part will cost much. Maybe speak to Warren G but he is a little far from you I think?

Part is about £40 from Vauxhall, not a terrible job to do but could be awkward if you don't have access to a ramp. Still do-able without though.

To be fair the full linkage that bolts to the subframe is about £80-90 I think.

The full linkage kit is £70 for a re conned one, or more near £100 for a new one. GF just had hers done, but was under warrenty. Common fault as said.

Gear linkage, same happened to mine, left it to long, broke down and ended up having to buy the whole thing about £ 100 from vaux, it's worth changing the whole thing, easyjob if you know what you doing or know of a garage who will do it, it's not difficult really

as lee says go with one ff ebay, it wont be a gm part but its a pattern of it.

As far as i know you can only buy the linkeage kit from vauxhall not the linkaege on its own, from vauxhall it will set you back about £110-£120 if i remember rightly thats just for the part, not them to fit it.

Its fairly simple to to, but very fiddly, and the one thing to make sure is that the cap is pushed on top properly, i changed mine and one of the four clips on the cap hadnt clicked in, i was driving along and it pooped off, , just got another cap from vauxhall and made sure that bastard werent coming off again.

I have instructions if you need, though i think they come with them
