Can a car be driven on the day of its mot expiry?
I.e if an mot expiry date is 12th May does this mean the can be driven up to 11:59pm on that day or does it technically expire at 120am 12th May.
Been looking on the dvla / direct gov website but cant seem to find the exact answer on this.
Thanks

you can drive a car with no MOT as long as you are taking it to go and get one done or to get the work needed for the MOT.

That's what I thought but not sure, because on the official website it just says about once expired it can only be driven if going to a booked test / to get repairs done needed for an mot pass
