Is that a dodgy bit or something, you both have the back end going through there

Just do a trackday and take it steady, id try find one at a local sprint track first tbh, usually lower speeds but tight so in theory less chance of binning it.

Nonsense, the first time I drove a Ford Puma on tarmac was from the paddock to the pits.

Is your car just and only a track car though? There's a difference. If he has the confidence from being on the road, its a total difference experience on track IMO.

You're a brill example Can't find that pic though

im fully in agreement crashing on track is easier btw certianly less stress

Well if you bin it, you hit a gravel trap and at worst armco and roll it.... Amb straight on scene.

Better than coming round a bend, going wide and havng ahead on/going into a tree, then waiting 6 hours for a ambelance to turn up and cart you off hospital

Yep lack of ABS might be something to do with it. Was with my mate in his qued up in traffic, pissing it down with rain, traffic move then stops, we move, go to stop and slide about 5 metres right up to the rear bumper of the car in front, both sitting there like and that was at 15-20mph max.

Pump the brakes if you start sliding.

My mates lock up scarily easily, probably because I persuaded him to put DS2500's on it, makes it a drivers car IMO

Mine rarely comes on but it's nice to know it's there on the occasions I'm not driving hard

Not managed to get the abs to come on on the 350.

4 pots already stop better than the big brakes that were on the golf and I've not even mashed them hard yet

ESP comes on alot though

It was just so unexpected we just both froze up and hoped for the best, it was like we were sliding in slow motion
