not for the first time but thought i should break it out and use it on the Navara after washing it then feeling how rough the paint was Both sides of the car felt like they were covered in overspray but it was just lots and lots of tar.
This was after 1 long swipe accross the front door
Had a mind numbing 2 days - trying to clean cars, fit brakes, etc etc.... things the size of the Navara and RRS should have some sort of autowash feature. I cant even reach the damn roof :/
thats them washed and polished (not skyline)... hopefully that will do for a while

Depends what you like....
Both tow the trailor and skyline no problem. Very steady etc.... some of that is prob the trailer though.
The Navara has more grunt - but manual gears arent the nicest for towing in my opinion.
The RRS is a lot more relaxed... TV's, Playstation, Leather, Auto.
Both do about 24/25mpg when towing. Navara a bit better when not towing
RRS - 28mpg
Navava - low 30's
Will get the RRS remapped and see how its feels but so far

Good work AK. I clayed the wifes corsa last weekend after i'd neglected it few about 6 months and the amount of shite that came off was unreal.
What are those orange lifeboat type things in background. Look like the kind of escape vessels used on Ships/rigs etc??

yup... never heard good things about JEEP and towing
this type?
2 years ago a group of us went to Donington.
2x Navara
1x L200
1x Jeep
We could all tow well above the 60mph speed limit. Ther poor jeep couldnt go over 60 as the car would just start wondering about the road.

Elgin Franklin lifeboats that have been decommissioned.

job - not rigs, but yes to oil industry. Mainly do Client Rep'ing on seismic exploration vessels now.
Navara - its going on friday, hence the clean (2nd time i've washed it )
Clay bar isnt that much effort. I washed it, dried, 'lubed', clayed, then gave those panels a quick wipe over before polishing.

dad bought an old discovery and totally hated, it towing it had no power, and was so uncomfortable for anything longer then 5 miles! haha
so he went out and got a jeep, its got plenty of power for the £££ and tax is only 190 i think for 12 months! always been relaible and its ok for towing, just get used to it, definatly stope your speeding cos of its wondering, lol
