what car is it?? you can take your V5 to main dealer and thay can get a new key cut for you

Corsa b mate and it will b cheaper for me to get complete new barrels from a scrappy than get a new key

not really as your need to change all the locks on car! unless you dnt mind have 2 diffrent keys for car?
i tryed to get my barrel out and was a fucking piss take to say the least!

what year is your corsa as you will haved to get a new ecu/transponder to match the chip in the new key

shudnt be to mutch then! just take your V5 into your main vauxhall dealer and there give you a price,i cnt see it being any more then £15/£20 if that!

As long as you've got the security card with the key code on it it's only £20, if you've not and they have to look it up it's an extra £20.

Yh I would change all the locks then if the barrel was changed plus I CBf to drill the lock

Tidiest option is to remove the cover on the barrel, get a 1-2mm drill bit and drill a hole either end of the key slot, then wiggle a piece of coat hanger down the holes to push the waffers back.
The messy option is to cut the end of the barrel off with a 1mm cutting disc then dig out the waffers.
Both of the above options will allow you to turn the barrel and release the pin at the other end so you can pull it out.
