as ive got a z16 xe engine here from an astra, so woundering what i need to do to get it to the 125bhp that the sports have?

i though sports were 125 standard? my old one used to fing fly at 135

x16xe is 109 standard but they take well to modifications.

Inlet and exhaust mods would see gains, not sure on how much but a lad on PNG has 140 BHP from inlet and exhaust mods on a C16XE (proven on a RR which even surprised him although he does admit he's doubtful of it)

I have a Z16XEP in my astra and its not a bad engine as such, but performance parts for it seem to cost the earth!

x16xe meets lower emissions regs than z16xe, and seeing as the z16xe is newer it probably makes more power being a newer engine
