Some of you may recall a post I made last year when I carried out an enhancement / correction detail to John_C's Skoda Fabia VRs. Well a couple of weeks back I went back for round 2 for a protection detail
All pics are courtesy of John as I just started to take some photos when Tom called with another booking Then it started to rain
John has kept it in absolutely stunning condition over the past year and it was good to see the Collinite still holding up (to a certain extent anyway!)
Very brief run down of products used:
Pre-rinse: ValetPro Snowfoam Combo
Wheels: Autosmart G101, later sealed with 2 coats of Chemical Guys Jetseal
Tyres / Arches: Autosmart G101, arches later dressed with Autosmart Rubber & plastic dressing, Tyres with Nielsens Brilliance.
Wash: Autosmart Duet, 2 bucket method, grit guards, Refined Detail wash mitt
De-Tar: Autosmart Tardis
Clay: Bilt Hamber soft with weak Autosmart Reglaze as lube
Glaze: Poorboys White Diamond
Sealant: Poorboys EX-P
Wax: Austosmart Wax for a bit of extra bling
Quick Detailer / Final Wipe down: Dodo Juice Red Mist Tropical
Door shuts: Autosmart Tango
Glass: Nielsens Blue Window Clean
Black Trim: Autosmart Trim Wizard
Exhaust: Wire Wool & Britemax Twins
Also carried out a full interior valet, spot cleaned some stains from the World's most impractical coloured seats, plastics wiped down and dressed then all fabrics protected with Autosmart Silverseal Interior Protectant (basically Scotchguard)
Again big thanks to John for his continued custom and support

awesome work as always.
The Punto is in more of a need than my Corsa believe it or not. Small scratches all over the place and some rough feeling panels. Plus a bit of orange peel where I had the door frame bit resprayed.
Need to save up the pennies though for your expertise.
A good ploy for one Sunday for you would be to set up in a retail park car park and do quick cleans - you'd get plenty of enquiries I reckon!

I'd need a generator for full time car park work though lol - John lives behind that car park so we ran an extension lead through the fence to my van
Plus with future plans to be revealed soon and the fact I'm 7 days a week since beginning of April and fully booked to end of June I don't think I need any cheapo work!!
Give us a shout when you're ready for the Punto to be sorted and we'll work something out.
Ben I don't think they do - just very very subtle for what they are, which I quite like these days!

Yeh d3000 (wish i knew how to use it off auto!)
Grandad mobile maybe but such a cruiser on the motorway, bit of poke and hasn't depreciated at all.
Would recommend rich's cleaning skills to anyone
