After umming and arrring over the past few weeks and nearly getting an S3; I finally went for the Jaguar X type I posted a while ago. Got it for a cracking price. Was meant to be a straight swap but ended up buying it outright instead.

Just got to sell the Audi now! Classifieds if anyone's interested

and a parting shot of the Audi (which is for sale! )

Proper grandad mobiles but great to drive, my dad got one while his car was in for service. I loved cruising around in it, really nice to drive.

Man I sound old.

I had an XJ a few years ago and had it converted to run a 350 chev after ripping out the v12, was great in a straight line but, a bit of a pig on corners

Dad's had another one as a replacement but with the updated rear lamps/grill/bumpers etc; it looks really nice.

Current Plans are:

- Fit a later spec grill
- Colour Code the chrome trim on the bumpers and tailgate
- Fit a Sport lip spoiler

then thats it; couple of years of Diesel cruising for me

Wouldnt it be cheaper to get rid of the fiesta aswell and just run this and the Range rover?

Surley the cost of buying the car, insurance, tax etc will be more than going to work in the range rover (assuming its closeby)
