Massive difference mate, performance wise the Evo is on another level well mine was anyways, the 4wd traction in all weathers compared to the fwd of the astra is obvious. The Evo is just so raw compared to the astra even the interiors are worlds apart. The astra is a much more relaxed/comfy place to be as the evo has more hugging seats and focused things like adjustable diff settings, super sensitive steering etc.
Price wise well thats still to be found out but i'd imagine the astra to be at least half the running/maintenence costs of the evo.

i thought as much, so its a money saving exersize really? i imagine you would be saving a fair bit arround 1.5k less than the evo and probably lots less to run and still quite a decent car. you going to be tempted to do anything to it? looks like a really good exaple too, does it have open+start or a key?

I'm just gonna enjoy it as it is for now as its already had a good few mods done to it (the important ones anyways). Maybe get the rocker covers done blue as the crossover pipe that was on it has marked them a bit. I aint had a chance to give it a good roasting as the wife was in the car with me today but tomorrow its just me and the car
Cost wise yea its to save a bit but it was more just to have a newer car that wasnt as raw.
Its the key start version. I think it was the 57plate onwards that was keyless.

I'm just glad it comes with the lifetime warranty lol
I would look a bit further into the lifetime warrenty. I'm pretty sure I've read it's only covered for the person who originally bought it.
Either way looks a good car, I still really like the look of these.

Very nice
Usually with lifetime warranties it only applies to the person that bought it.
