Chatting away to my mates,we were driving toward cannock In the west midlands.ended up going towards liverpool.Having not been I thought it was a worth while trip.Took a few shots which can be seen In snap day but I seriously couldnt believe how rundown ANFIELD was.The grounds amazing (Liverpool Fan) But the roads near by were shocking

to give you an example Is this



We spotted 9 roads backign onto the ground like this

And a few of my favorites from the day

Exactly my thoughts.That was only one side of one street.On estimate I'd say I spotted 200 houses and thats In the space of 1000yrds

iirc they are building new houses and knocking the old ones down as they are not fit to live in.

I'm sure someone a little more local will be able to confirm this or something I just think i've heard

The stadium will be torn down in the next few years if the new stadium ever gets built. I guess the whole area will be regenerated.

Im sure thats whats happening, theres quite a few like that as you drive into liverpool aswell off the m62? (bin a while since i have done it) but they have been boarded up for a good 2 years to my knowledge and probably longer than that as they have definatly been like it since the ex started uni (2years)
