I'm liking these at the moment. Wouldn't be bothered if it was a petrol or diesel model although the diesel will obvioulsy be preferred due to lower running costs.

Talk me out of considering one? Thoughts? Would be used and no more than 25k.

Wouldn't be taken off road at all so no comments about them being shite off road.

my dad has the 2.7 diesel v6, does 29-30 mpg at best, but is supremely comfortable on the motorways, and can easily carry 4 passengers comfortably! servicing was not as bad as I was expecting, interim service was around £200.

Tax is bloody horrendous though, it counts as one of Labours evil car program and its around £400 a year, outrageous

I've spent a couple of hours driving a TDV8... proper luxurious wafting mobile. Absolutely loved it. And it was awesome off road! I didn't get any proper off roading pictures though unfortunately so you'll have to make do with this.

The proper Range Rover is even better though and looks nicer, the Sport styling is a bit strange.

you mean the high tax is justified on the fuel economy?

I wouldn't take it off road ever. It would mainly be used for wafting about on the weekend and a bit of small trailer towing.

The diesel is the more sensible option although I only do 5k a year so the petrol wouldn't be an issue.

Mwg - I don't agree I think the Sport looks better.
