Im looking to sell my car, currently have it advertised for £4k on both auto trader and ebay.
Ive put in my ebay listing, cash only.

Someone msg'ed me last night saying would I take 3800 cash tomorrow.
I said I would rather wait until Thursday as I have plans (gives me time to get the car cleaned and up together etc).

The girl has just messaged me back to say
quote:
Oh that's a shame I could only make today before I
go abroad this weekend!
Thanks
Samantha

Although I did say cash only in the auction, does the above comments make it seem a bit dodgy?
It puts me off that shes not interested in viewing it, more that she wants to come and take it off me straight away.

I dont want to risk being raped by two big blokes who'll fcuk me over but on the other hand, im desperate to get rid of it.

Probably legit, just make sure someone is there with you when they come to buy the car off you though.

you could get scammed by anyone, women often don't know much about cars so will just take it if it works.

This.

Took me over three years to sell my car I'd take any offer and run nowadays.
