My corsa was lowered 100mm, ive not long got rid of the springs for bigger 40mm spring due to comfort but i miss the car being so low, dont really care for comfort looks is more important,
so what im wondering is can i just take the 40mm springs out leaving no springs just shock absorbers i relise the springs take some of the bumps but there was no travel in the car before is this safe to do?

cheers for any help

Your a knob if you do it, if you choose to buy correct height springs and run a proper set up then your not a knob. choice is yours.
But please dont kill any one as you fall off the road

You will be going up the road like a 3 legged dog when the shock blows. It will be sooooo bouncey, stupidly low, handle like jelly on a plate, exhaurst will hit the rear beam, fail every test there is, illegal the list goes on.

Don't do it it's silly

i did it from north wales to calais with no springs, its bouncy, and the handling issue is there, but you can have so much fun with it, if you get it right you can flick the tail out on any bend with a bit of left foot braking, but if you give it pain get some springs in it, because obviously the LSV will just send all braking to the back (if you have one) and as soon as you stamp on the pedal when someone pulls out on you, you'll just go into them backwards but yeah it does look the buisness and call me a prick, but its fun for a few days haha!
