will you not? im 23 and insured to drive any car. Wrong agen Mr right.
When did you take out the policy?
I got it under 25 but there was only 1 company I could find in the whole of britain.
When did you take the policy out? before the end of last year?
my policy started on the 5th november 2009.
It was after that, literally one day you could get it the next everyone stopped.

Yes.
Policy was taken in January
I'm 24 and am covered to drive other vehicles through my personal car insurance
I'm insured with Highway
I didn't request it, or get told it would cost me more - it's just there.

Its a stupid condition anyway, why would you want to drive any car of substantial value with just TPFT cover??
Ive got it but ive never used it!!
The other car must be insured anyway to make it valid and legal.. Generally if someone owns a car of 'substantial value' they will have it insured fully-comp, which will normally pay out even if you lent the car to someone else assuming it was all legal and above board
You need a trade policy to be able to drive random other non-insured cars.

I know it needs to be insured by somebody, that was neither here nor there in my arguement & wasnt mentioned.
So if I borrow someones Astra VXR say for the sake of an example & stack it into a wall....total loss their insurance will cover it & pay out??
Sounds odd, I know someone thats had their car insurers refuse to pay out in the past because they handed the key over to a hopefull purchaser who just drove off in it. I would have though this would be similar but the TPFT the borrower has on their own policy will cover 3rd part loss only, still leaving bright spark car lender out of pocket!!?
