key wont turn in the ignition, it will turn so the radio will come on, but not so the engine starts.

I have tried turning the steering wheel whilst turning the key, but nothing.

Any suggestions

So you can turn it to position 3 but it won't start, the key won't go any further round?

take the barrel out and clean it.

try a spare key if you have one, mine did this and turned out to be the key had worn

I had a similar problem, just put the key in the ignition and give it a good hit with a club hammer. let us know how you get on.

well it happend again at work, I called green flag out and it just shook the key and the turned and it worked

cut the guy some slack he keeps having problems with his car so surely hes not a nob for asking for help/advice he might not know much about car's

hope you get it sorted willdoyle

im not taking sides but come on guys he's spent loads on the car

and if iirc he has posted in the right section hasnt he

mate, if you seen half of the shite and crap that he's posted in the past, you'll be joining in aswell,

but overall he's been told how to solve the problem, just sort it doyle

He'd posted in GC - it was moved by admin. I would have deleted my comment, but seeing as it was then replied to, it wouldn't make the other replies seem logical!
