If the interior is one of the key features for you then you're only really going to be happy with an Audi TBH. I absolutely love my interior. It does mean pretty much every other car you go in feels a bit crappy though.

Audi interiors win hands down tbh.

Mines the older model but its still a nice place to sit

Edit - Get one with the buckets.

Thats why I class it as one of the more important things to look for in a car. I keep looking to see what I might replace mine with but most of the time I get to the interior of what ever I'm looking at its pretty poor so puts me off.

Ian - £1750 = no chance

MW - I liked the Astra dash, looked quite good at night. But the quality of an Audi is far better.

She wants those funky running lights too

If you do decide the S3 is for you it's worth while having a look on the used car part of the Audi site and asking your Audi dealer to look whats in stock too as you might find something very close to what you are looking for spec wise or better possibly even with the bucket seats with very few miles for a better deal than buying new. Plus no 3 month+ waiting time.

Certain new cars are definately selling well. AFAIK VW still have a waiting time for the new Golf running into months. Not as bad as it was when the car came out, but if you want one spec'd up you'll have to wait.

Of course a £30k S3 might be a different matter.....

Looked at the big convertable, but again it seems some manufactures pay about as much attention to a decnet dash like I review barbie dolls.

Volvo, and a whole load of others have the worst most boring cheap dashes ever

And before you say it, that new C30 isn't out and I wouldn't want it anyway.
