Andrew kept asking questions about VW Campers, 3.2 V6 Vectra's and shit, but ended up buying a Punto

Is he a Liverpool fan? It's like them talking about Villa but then end up getting Jonjo Shelvey!

Why do you always want to swap your car?

If you don't like it sell it and buy something decent rather than getting into these conversations with people who want to swap a dog of a car.

As letgsi16v said i would only get one off someone i know has taken good care of it, there are two minters around my way, one of which is that same beeeeeeeeautful graphite colour, they are such cool cars, but with such fragile engines be careful!

I bought mine off my best mate who was emigrating, it had £15k in receipts for the engine alone in the previous 5 years and had just had an engine rebuild done at the cost of £2k, I still blew it to fucking pieces within 1200 miles.

It was worth it though, I absolutely RAPED a twin turbo V8 Lotus Esprit about 10 minutes before it popped and he was trying - HARD! He almost wiped out on the roundabout, leaving it broadside. Then I come along in my tin can/upturned skip and hand him his arse!

As said, it seems strange that someone would wanna swap a £3k car for one of little value.

the power sounds great, but realistically the car will be a pain in the arse and cost you a fortune, it will be totally different to the polo.

It won't make that power. Note it makes no mention of what 'full boost' is and as it is a carb it would have to have the relevant jets fitted.

The UK record is 440BHP IIRC and that's with TB's (therefore better fueling) custom inlet, massive RPM ceiling, Gordini huge valve head etc. Still, it's a lot for 1397cc!
