under my own tests it shown tesco fuel makes it run leaner. Which to me suggests lower rated fuel. I dont have millions of ecu controled items to compensate. Mine adjusts nothing therefore you can notice a difference.

I was reading some proper scientific test that a team did on petrol stations all over the UK, beleive it or not tesco 99 actually had the most consistant RON value out of all the fuels, so if you buy it, it is more than likely actually 99 RON BP and Shell stuff fluctuates a lot more might even be 95RON some days

thats cool but i will believe my own tests more. I assume they didnt costantly check the same fuel station over a period of time?

My boss ran three tank full of the stuff before a rolling road day and wast happy with the results. Okay wasn't mapped on it but three tanks a nd 700 miles should be enough to adjust the evidence a bit. He was down on power and at 2.44 a litre ain't cheap

Yes but they have spilled all there oil all over the GOM so supply and demand etc
When I worked for Tesco the Tanker drivers said not to use the fuel due to the amount of shit they put in it

But you have a 45 litre tank
So thats 54 to the gallon.
I do 2300 miles a month, and fill up 4 times (41 litre tank). Sometimes I love my car.
haha, I would have fill up 9 times (55 litre tank) - sometimes I hate my car
